We use local storage to save settings and temporary app state directly in your browser. In the Image Converter, this may include file names, file sizes, conversion status and random technical identifiers used to restore your current file list. This information remains on your device and is not used for advertising or profiling. The app uses the temporary file-list state for up to 30 minutes, after which it is discarded when the app is opened again. You can also clear it at any time through your browser settings.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use strictly necessary first-party cookies for security, sign-in and enforcing service limits. The Image Converter uses a temporary random browser identifier to apply its daily conversion quota to visitors who are not signed in. This cookie expires automatically at the next midnight in the Europe/Oslo time zone. We also offer an optional Keep me signed in cookie that you can choose to enable.

Personal data submitted through the contact form is processed on our server and sent to our email inbox so that we can read and respond to your message. It is not stored in the website database and is retained in our mailbox only for as long as needed to handle the correspondence.

Images uploaded through the Image Converter app are processed within our self-hosted infrastructure and stored temporarily only for conversion and download. Uploaded images, converted files and related temporary processing records are automatically deleted approximately two hours after the most recent processing activity, or sooner when you remove them from the app. We do not use these files for advertising or profiling and do not retain them beyond this temporary processing period.

When registering for an account, we collect your email address and password (which is securely hashed before storage). This data is used solely for account creation, email verification and access control. We do not sell your data. We only share data with essential service providers needed to operate this site (for example for email delivery), and only under our instructions.

If you join one of our game servers, we may store your in-game username and UUID to manage access (such as whitelisting) and to support normal server operation (such as saving player progress). Server logs may also include IP address and connection timestamps for security and troubleshooting. We do not use this data for advertising or profiling.

To protect the Image Converter's availability and prevent excessive automated use, visitors who are not signed in are subject to daily conversion limits. We derive rotating pseudonymised identifiers from the temporary browser identifier and the connecting IP address using a secret keyed hash. The raw browser identifier and IP address are not stored in the quota records. These identifiers are used only to count successful conversions and enforce browser-level and shared-network limits; they are not used for advertising, analytics or profiling. Daily quota counters are automatically deleted after seven days. Temporary conversion reservations expire after five minutes and their records are deleted within 24 hours. This processing is based on our legitimate interests in protecting the service and maintaining its availability.

To protect this website against spam and abuse, rejected contact-form submissions may be logged with the time of submission, rejection reason, message length, and pseudonymised hashes of the IP address and browser user agent. The submitted email address and message are not stored in these logs. This processing is based on our legitimate interests in protecting the website and its services, and the logs are automatically deleted after 30 days.

The quota records and contact-form logs described above are used solely to protect the service. They are not used to build profiles.

Our website links to external sites, such as social media platforms. These sites operate under their own privacy policies and we recommend that you review them.

You can manage or clear the data stored in local storage through your browser settings.

You can clear the session cookie by closing your browser and the Keep me signed in cookie by logging out of your account.

Resetting your preferences or removing stored data can be done at any time without affecting access to our website.

You have full control over your account data, including the ability to permanently delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

When you delete your account, all associated data (including your email and credentials) is removed from our system and cannot be recovered.
